Got a pair of these off of eBay for a song and a dance, thought I would get them for the movements for another project but I am not sure I can cannibalize them now!

Wow what a terrific looking pair of watches.  hand6.gifhand6.gif  They look very classy and would make a superb dress watch.  Congrats on the great bargain, cheers.

Way too nice to canabalize.  Now that Bulova had been bought out the Accutron may disappear also.  Even if they keep the name, it may not be the same just like the new ones dont use a tuning fork.

I think those are too nice to part out but then again... you do have two of them!:D Great movement for sure and lovely dial. I like the use of the tuning fork in the 12:00 position. Does the crystal have the funky Accutron AR??

No AR at all!
I have been trying it on different bracelets this morning I think I will leave it on the mesh for the day and see how I like it, I hate to say it but I think I am going to have to keep it and just buy the movements from Ofrei!
