I want to Thank my good Buddy and fellow Buckeye Nick (Nabco) for remembering me when it came time to sell his rare 90's vintage Hamilton Lemania 283 chrono!  What can I say but this watch is absolutely Mint and as much new as any watch I have ever seen in a showcase,complete with original carriage and all paperwork!...I put it on a DeBeers from the sale at WatchPrince to save the original strap from showing any signs of wear and I couldn't be happier with a awesome transaction between WIS buddies and forum friends...TY again Nick...I owe you big time!! hand6.gifhand6.gif Attachment: 004.JPG (Downloaded 105 times) |

You are very welcome Oscar, I know you will get much more pleasure out the heritage associated with that watch then I will....happy it landed with a true WIS that will enjoy it. And guys I have an equally nice vintage Hami with an early Val 7750 with all the papers, etc, up for sale on the sale forum. The only thing it does not have is the Hamilton signed strap, 99% sure the strap is original, just not signed like the one Oscar got. |

TY Guys and to Nick again! I have been colecting Lemania movements for a while and they are hard to come by and rare in what would be considered a working mans watch like this Hammy....they are usually found in only high end watches like Audemers Piquet,B&M,Sinn,Glasshutte, etc....this Hammy is almost identical in dial layout to my Doxa Coppa which uses the same engine and I'm just happy to be able to add another....especially in a American made watch like the Hamilton! hand6.gif |
