Hi gang. Been away for a while but brought this back with me. A 1916-20 Anzac Trench, Watch. It is a little guy but with allot of character. Inside beats a LeCoultre 0 size, movement. Keeps great time. Does need a new strap though.

For those who don't know - ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. I agree that after a day at the spa this one will be quite the beauty.

I shudder to think what that watch went through in the WWI trenches. What a nice tribute, omegaman, and a rare pickup! Well done!

Thanks Guys for the nice words. The watch feels special on the wrist and does deserve a service. As for what this little guy has seen in its lifetime only he knows, but for now he will sit in peace alongside his other brothers.

As for the history of the Anzacs:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anzac
