Well guys yesterday was the best Monday in a long time... party.gif

Both my new Orsa Creamsicle Monstrum and my SS BRG Benarus Moray were waiting for me when I got home late last night... I ahd two packages waiting on the table and couldn't beleive both arrived so quickly!!! Great job Berg and Steve!!!hand6.gif

I opened the packages today boy10.gif

and took some pics, nothign  fancy as I had to do this quickly at the office. I did not even have time to tke the Moray out of the plastic. I did later this morning cut my Monstrum strap and am now wearing it so I got more pics of that one... BOY it is a monster!!!:) Huge watch and unusual crystal shape. As for cutting the strap, I first wrapped the watch around and eyeablled the extra strap I thought I'd have taking into account where I wanted the buckle to sit... lots of extra...

So I started cutting two pieces from the side the bucked was attached to [as the watch arrived], reattached the buckle on that side and eyeballed it again... then cut two more on the other side and Perfect fit... buckle sits in the middle. Used a utility knife. Not a hard process... I would guess my wrist is an avg 7"

So enough talking on to the Camera_photos.gi

Moray Package

tight squeeze under the sleeve:)

Congratulations on your new watches!!!

I am waiting for the same Orsa myself! More opinions on it? Berg told me it was silver rather than white? Was the packaging sturdy? Mine has to travel a long way to get here...

I will size the strap exactly as you did.

Dell Latitude D620?

In my humble opinion it is NOT silver at all but a hade of white kinda pearl. Watch has gained 5 minutes since I set it and started wearin it this morning around 9 compared to my PC's clock. Interesting.
I am going to reset the time and check again in a few hours to see if it was a fluke or user error in all this watch excitement:)

Dell lattitude indeed but 630. My work computer.
Got one too?
Later

Forgot one of your questions. Sorry
packaging IMO is one HD the weak points here.
See my 2nd pic in the OP. It is a mere padded envelope and inside it is directly the Orsa pouch you see in the very first pic. So little protection to shock. There is no watch box and no packaging box.
Hope it helps. Bit really a lot of buyers on 3T have bought watches from Orsa and haven't read of any issues dueto shipping/packaging?

Actually your packaging pic was the motivator for my question. Interesting... I got a Seiko Monster from an e-bay dealer in Singapore, and it came in a box, which was carefully bubble wrapped, then on a cardboard box (with a very good fit and with every remaining space filled with polystyrene big pearls. Different standards...

Got a D620 as a work computer. 26 months old and waiting for a removal of the company Capex freeze to replace it...

Let us know how it goes on the "time gain" issue.

Very nice two-fer Monday there Jeep99dad!!!Thumbsup3.gif

Big Congrats on both the creamsicle Orsa Monstrum and the BRG Moray!!!

As you already noted, the Monstrum is indeed a "Monster" of a watch...that 56mm lug to lug dimension is quite large and I think that is the dimension that people have the most work "getting used to".  For my average 7.25" wrist, the Monstrum lug-to-lug dimension really is very close to the maximum dimension I would consider being able to reasonably wear.  I have gotten used to it by the way and enjoy my Blue Monstrum.

Your BRG Moray with the optional black bezel looks like a fantastic combination!!!ThumbsUp02.gif ...really love the look...

Can't wait to see some more pics.

Again...big congrats and enjoy!!!

Thank you all.
Yes the Monstrum is huge lug to lug and is also super wide!
Stew, I am hoping I will have time to open & size the Moray today to wear it and take more pics I will post here.
Thanks all again!

Good!

Look forward to get mine. I am waiting for the Orsa, for a Marina Militare Pan homage and for a Golana Aqua (replacement for a DOA, so I guess it is not technically a new watch. At least, this is what I will be saying...). And I just put myself on the pre-reserve list for one of the new Cave Dwellers. This is getting out of control...

Happy hump day!

Very nice watches. A little bubble wrap wouldn't hurt, though.
