30 minutes after I was told by the post office that today no deliveries would be done (National day tomorrow down here...), the receptionist walked into my office with this...

Does not look like containing anything Swiss or German...

Let's dig into it... Mmmm, not the nicest packaging I have received lately...

This does not look like a bracelet to me...

So my MM Panny homage arrived!

Watch looks very good for what I paid, shipped to Chile (which is around the same  I get charged just for shipping from the USA by some watch vendors) and with a very good communication and service from the supplier. The strap is not top notch for sure, but much better than what I expected. The movement looks beautiful, I am very happy with the swan neck option I chose. I read recently a detailed comparison between the Swiss Unitas 6497 and this version, which was a bit surprising.

It is actually the first mechanical watch I have since I was a kid (some thirty something years ago...) that I can hear ticking... I am already timing it, so I will publish the results...

Will send you a PM over the weekend, as I do not want to "infringe" any vendor/link posting rule.

Big congrats on the MM, Ral. I always liked that designhand6.gif.

I'd suggest you lose the factory-issued strap and get the real thingsubtlelaugh.gif. To complete the look, a GPF-PreMod buckle would do it.
