SO  I just picked up a Orient Mako blue dial for $95 shipped, not sure if it is a good deal or not... It is Brand New from the Orientalwatch.com web site.

I got an email from them about the yellow one being on sale over 50% off, 135$ instead of $275 retail with SS bracelet. with the special code "yellowmako".. I was going to buy it then I saw the blue dial version which was 190$ retail only!!! Somehow the yellow is much more $$!! I loved both dials and blue is my favorite color, it was cheaper... done deal! I signed up for their email and received right away a first time buy 50% off coupon... So I got the blue dial for $95 after using the coupon and $0 shipping!!!  I am a little usure about this as I have never owned or even seen one... but we'll see... I have seen a bunch of you on 3T posting wristshots of them and they look real cool! I especially like their DOD today... at $255, maybe my next buy if I get another great coupon:)

any way here's mine.. I should have it in 2-4 days

and on rubber which I may switch to...

Thanks for looking

Brice

I think you'll be plesantly surprised by Orient and their quality.  I've had the Orient Star 300M diver for several years and every time I put her on she I realize that it matches pound for pound to any of my other watches that cost 10X more.  Congrats and enjoy!

You'll be quite happy with the Mako and that's a good buy imho.:D The "Planet Orient" you have pictured is a sweet watch too. We have several members who own or have owned it.

You definitely can't go wrong with a Orient watch. IMO they are one of the best buys out there! Good luck , Terry.

I have a blue Mako and love it.  The extra button to adjust the day is a wacky feature, but completely unnessesary of course..... Could also lead to potentially more leaks if used as a diver.
Enjoy it in good health!hand6.gif
