and ordered the gold "45" nib that I lost from my Breitling Windrider Chronomat B13050....got it on a bracelet now, but I think I'll order a rich brown custom strap for it. Here's an Internet pic of the watch! I'll be wearing again soon!![]()

That's the way to do it. One of my colleagues wears the same model with a quartz UTC module on a bracelet. He's had it forever and had it serviced by Breitling and it looks brand spankin' new. I'm glad you'll be bringing this one back into your rotation. And I didn't even comment on your most impressive moustache!!

I believe that 'stache was shaved off that Summer during a fishing trip to Alaska....after several hours of poker, we decided to go fishing again (we were staying at a lodge in Soldatna right on the Kenai River) and around 11PM (yes, it was still light out) I went in the bat room to splash some water on my face, decided the 'stache was way to gray and, after 30 years, had to go! Needless to say, when I exited the bat room....there were some stunned looks and a few comments like "What the Frak did you do?"

Ken, I think a rich brown strap would suit that watch just fine. Go for it. Can't grow a mustache anymore...........too much salt and pepper would make me look weird

Found "no mustache" picture taken after I shaved it off in Soldatna...standing on dock on the Kenai River holding 57 pound King Salmon...they had to take the shot fast as I could barely lift it (superman days were long gone)...![]()

Hey Ken - beautiful photo! I had a beard for most of my younger years (just 'cos I could) - then I discovered that the girls preferred me without and VOILA! gone in an instant. Gee we are shallow... anyways - if we could all look as distinguished as you - we would be sitting pretty! I am a bit like BRP - too much grey for it to stay! Back to the watch - thats a dead set, bonafide beauty - and fast becoming the all-time classic Breitling. Wear it in good health! I vote for the double-ridged brown Hirsch with the curved ends that hug to the case - in shark or alligator to complement the lines and the features of the watch face. But that stunner would look good on almost anything! Cheers - IanM hand6.gif

Congrats Ken on a classic piece! As for the "stache" I have had to start thinking about the gray in mine as well and I'm not nearly as "old" as you!
