The Megalodon needs no introduction but in addition to what has been said already all I can add is that this is no forum watch by any means as it far exceeds anything that has preceded or will ever follow! ...Benarus has reached a milestone as a watch company!perfect.gif

The Megalodon is flawless in all categories ...the fit & finish is impecable and the lume is out of this world with nothing else in my vast collection even coming close. The 2 piece dialwork is amazing and goes from a sweet metallic charcoal to a deep black depending on light and the brushed finish is beautiful! The double domed AR coated sapphire crystal is invisible to the eye and the cam! Even though it is large and hefty the Meg is extremely comfortable on the wrist!yahoo.gif

..Ralfs undying commitment to bring us a watch that was built around a name with the help of  WIS on this forum every second of the way should be a testament to what team work can accomplish ....Ralf and Steve should  be commended and Thanked whole heartedly!...the Megalodon is without a doubt a masterpiece in watchmaking and definetly Dive Watch of the Year imho!....anything that even comes close to design from here on out is nothing but a knock-off as Ralf pulled out all stops in this Mega creation....truly amazing and  a watch that I will cherish forever! Thank You Ralf!! thankyou.gif

...more pics to follow with a brief review once the blizzard in Ohio pases...:D

Well Oscar...MEGA BIG Congrats!!!  party.gif

Glad to see your Megalodon finally arrived!!!

I am having a whole lotta watch envy looking at your great pics...The Megalodon looks perfect (and dare I say right at home on your wrist...your wrists are fairly beefy at 8" or so right?).

I think I may have missed the boat big time here, as I was scared away from the Megalodon due to the advertised dimensions (like you said, it is definitely a beast, but the pics I've seen show it wearing quite comfortably on people's wrist).

I agree with your comments...The Megalodon is just a spectacularly executed piece and has to be THE dive watch of 2009!

I wouldn't want that Viking blood to rise Will! ....:D.....so here is a Q&D....double o-ring secure...and that anti-magnetic shroud sits as high as the inside of the case and fills it to the max ...the lip you see on top of the retainer/shroud fits nicely into the grooved caseback once screwed back on...this watch is top notch from inside out and is made to withstand any conditions imho....the caseback itself is amazing and reminds me of a man-hole cover!
