Hello, everyone!

Just thought I'd share my excitement: I finally broke down and got a watch I'd wanted for awhile now.
snoopy1.gifI now have a brand new Omega Seamaster 300m in black.  Much has been written about these watches, so I'll skip that part.  Just want to say that the watch is definitely more stunning in person than on numerous internet photos.

Thank you, guys!  So far, so good.  That COSC certification is paying off: first day out of the box, it was only +1sec.  See what happens once it's settled in.  BB sized it for me with only one link needing removed.  That bracelet is one of my favorite parts of the whole watch.  And the case back, of course.
I really wanted a piece from one of the long-established brands.  Until now, I had what you'd call boutique-brand watches: a couple of d.freemonts, an L&B Schaumburg watch, and a most recent DOXA Sharkhunter COSC.
Although they (Omega) seem to give their ADs a lot of grief, I hear that their treatment of their watch owners is second to none.  And that's what matters in the long run.
