Well, I'd posted a topic awhile back about which watch I should get this year.  According to the poll, this was the winner, and I couldn't agree more.

My Doxa 800Ti arrived on Thursday, February 18, 2010, and I haven't taken it off.  There're already swirls on the clasp, but it's a watch and that happens.

This thing is SUPER light and the tubes are great.  I figured I'd throw a NATO from Timefactors on her & now she's truly mine.

Thanks for all the input, and enjoy the pics.

Stuart

Stuart - that is a real pickup! You can tell from the "I want one soon" posts that Doxa has a strong following - and it has to be for good reason. The "inventors of orange" have some terrific models. My current pick of their lineup is the 1200 Searambler, but the 800 is a very close second, whether it be in black or orange faced variant (haven't seen a Searambler version of it for quite a while on the secondary market, or to the top of the list it would go...).

The tritium tubes on your Ti watch are apparently the dogs bollocks (Aussie slang - means "very good"!!!) and trite watches have a strong following, too. Combine both great maker with great features and you have yourself a bona-fide crackerjack!

Congrats on this one - wear it with pride and in good health.

Cheers - IanM hand6.gif
