Regarding the dial color, I would say that this is more of "light black" than gray under most light conditions. If you catch it right, the dial does lighten up a bit. Whatever color it is, the markers & numbers really jump right out at you, making this dial incredibly readable. I really like it Nice job Ralf & Steve!!
