I don't want to be controvertial but if it's sold as a diver looking like a Kampfschwimmer, why is it writen "Pilot" in Cyrillic at 3 o'clock? You also clearly see the wings... Anyway, it look good;)

Most likely its a navy thing, the Russian train of thought is often being practical one I guess, navy sea pilot does not need to go more than 100m but can be it a helicopter so pilot...i guess its like when we get a 2000m divers watch the Russians think "what's the practicality of that?" This is all just speculation anyway but the bottom line is ...I love it. Bouncy.gif Also Poljot tend to have that logo on a lot of classics too maybe its a brand thing. Here is the full sale jargon: Russian novelty - DIVER´s WATCH II This elegant masterpiece of pilot's watches is limited to 250 pieces. The PILOT´s WATCH II is characterized by a double grooved crown that is screwed to the case, a light convex mineral glas and a strap width of 24 mm, as well as the rectagular polished stainless steel case (Ø 45 mm; with crown 50 mm). This watch has, as well as other Classic watches, an especially beautiful detail on the dial: the logo of the brand PILOT´s WATCH and the name of the brand in cyrillic letters. On the screwed case back you can see the serial number engraved as well as a steering wheel and a sectant. Caliber 3602, manual winding, mechanical, 18 jewels, 41 hours of power reserve, small second counter, water resistant up to 10 ATM (no liability assumed) as engraved on the back, black dial, white luminous numbers, indices and hands, mineral glas, screwed crown. The movement is installed in a polished stainless steel case. Yes looks like a Pilot watch just mixed up... Last edited on Fri Mar 26th, 2010 05:16 pm by ndburley |

No big deal: The dial is signalised at 99% like a diver and the "Pilot" name is not eating it... The wings gives a military effect somehow. If one day you want a Kampfschwimmer with clean Cali. dial, there's a bunch of homages at great prices on the market;) The original one don't got the second visor... I like second visors, they give life on the dial.
