Very cool looking piece!  I think this might be the very first Russian Cali Dial I've ever seen...

...cannot wait to see some "real life" pics when you receive it ndburley.

It is a Pilot its just the sellers mistake but I dont care, they do have Amphibias but not with Cali dial....its due any day now and I ran into work today hoping to see a parcel for me but nothing....someone invent a teleporter delivery service! anodie.gif

Ok had a look at Kampfschwimmer back ground and training is as follows.
The training includes but is not limited to swimming, diving, navigation, close combat, weapons handling, and parachuting.

If you see in on the back of the case it looks navy, maybe this is a purpose mix?

I like it. Would love to see if the movement is decorated as it could possibly make a good mod project.

That's for certain the first Russian Cali dial I've seen. I like it even with the nine-eater sub seconds which breaks up the Cali dial but is well balanced by the logo and cryptic script.toon1.gif Looks like the Molnija 3603 movement. Get yourself an exhibition caseback brother!wowzer.gif Really great and unique watch imho! Enjoy! yahoo.gif

3602 Molnija is what I thought to before I bought it, I just like the whole thing, I don't want the exhibition case to be honest I love the markings and LE number on the back. This is my first Molnija that is not a pocket watch so that's a happy first. Was looking at a few Moscow Classics before this. It is very big but very comfy which is surprising as I do not have the biggest wrist. Thank you all for your nice comments.

you rock.gif

Agree. It's a unique Russian Cali with pilot markings. Movement looks ok. Big Congrats on another Russian timepiece, ND. ThumbsUp02.gif
