Got the Midsize Seamaster  a bit more than week ago. Spent quite some time with the polishing kit and, although there is always room for improvement, at some point you need to stop polishing and think about using it.

The best improvement, in my view, was on the bezel, where the surface ended up like a mirror!

It was a fun process and, bottom line, I got a killer price on a watch that is still keeping COSC time on the slow side, has all the papers and looks very good now.

When I put it in, I was struck by the (small) size. Most of my watches are 41mm or larger (e.g. Dievas Vortex, Zeno Airplane Diver, Orsa Monstrum, Hamilton Khaki GMT, etc...), so it feels small... However, on the (poor quality cell phone) pics, it does not look that small in my wrist. Honest opinions on this will be appreciated!

Looks fine on the wrist and as long as you are comfortable with the size have at it. We do have some big watch nuts here, but I'm old enough to remember when 36mm was a good sized watch and 41mm was jumbo! The SMP is just classic in all its guises. Big congrats.

Looks pretty good to me. With that shiny bezel, I think you'll find that in outdoor light it looks bigger than it actully is.

I have a few 45mm watches; but never thought my Seamaster was too small.

Enjoy that oneThumbsUp02.gif

Ral, nothing wrong with that watch. It's a very good one and doesn't really look small on your wrist at all. Enjoy it in good healthThumbsUp02.gif
