Not really totally new, I always wanted one of these as it has that vintage classy look, there were 2 Sandoz watches on sale at the time, 1 auto and 1 manual...the auto had Swiss Mov't on it and this had Swiss made on it.
Well I won it because I think everyone was looking at the auto so I got this for just shy of $30, not sure on the movement as I have only opened it up today...please take a look. (any info on the movement would be most thankfully excepted)

I like it Neo. Like Edgel said this is a poor man's Date Just. I'm guessing the movement is an ETA 2801 as per the case back this has incabloc shock protection... and WATERPROOF (that's bold) too!dog smile.gif Enjoy it brother stix!ThumbsUp02.gif

Nice one, Neo. ThumbsUp02.gif Very refined design. I think my dad had one of those some time back. I can recall the sparkle and sheen of the links very clearly.

Yours is styled very much like a Rolex Datejust. Or is that not what you were asking?

I don't know Rolex very well; so there may be other similarities, apart from style, that he was referring to

no that was it...im a poor man....I will go weep in a corner dreaming of Rolex...subtlelaugh.gif
That was it really just was not sure what it meant...I only picked it up for $30 and I really liked the old Sandoz styles but like I said there was a Automatic one for sale and that went for $130 and this was on the same deadline at the time. I think everyone was focused that and thats why I got the manual that cheap. Also this has "Swiss Made" on it and the Automatic had "Swiss Mov't" on it with an inner plastic housing to hold the movement in place. I love hand wound watches anyway and this called to me but I tell you what, after wearing dvers watches and massive pilots putting this Sandoz on is like wearing thin air!!

Isn't that wierd? I have watches that I never wear anymore because they seem small to me; but they seemed pretty big when I got them.

None of then are as nice as your Sandoz though- hope it serves you well  hand6.gif
