Not very often I regret flipping a watch but I kept seeing members show these and I really dig the Orca for what it is... a no nonsense, uniquely designed, eco drive powered all purpose diver. When this blue example came up I bit. It's a little rougher than I expected but that's not an issue since this is a beater and was well priced. You all know the watch, big, bulbous and nice and light with the Ti case... damn hard to get a good picture of with the heavily domed crystal. Lume for days!  So I've got a blue Orca to beat on... feels good to have the big Citizen back in the collection. Q&Ds:    |

Congrats Mark...That blue dialed Orca is fantastic!!! Totally unique design and very worthy of a good beating indeed!!! I've got nothing from Citizen that has arrived "yet", but these big Ti cased Citizens have certainly been tugging on my WIS strings lately. Enjoy having this one back in your collection!!! |

Thanks guys! I am quite pleased to have had an Orca come back to me and think I do like the blue better than the black. The lume is just phenomenal. As a note the seconds hand on this one lines up perfectly with the indices which wasn't quite the case on my last. A nit to be sure but bothersome on a piece with this sort of seconds hand motion. |

I like it... A beater?? I have a beater that i cut the lawn with and it does not look anything like yours. Nice watch.. They always seam to catch my eye when I'm looking around. |

That's really nice, Mark. I almost got one the day I shot down the Kamikaze but I hesitated. The design and profile is tops but I'm still trying to wrestle with the EcoDrive engine....though surely much superior to a quartzie. Good you mentioned something about the lume because that may be the clincher for me although right now it's either the EcoZ or the AutoZ for me. Thanks for the enjoyable post.yahoo.gif |

I like that watch too Mark. I never noticed the raised sections on the bezel's surface before. Very helpful in rotating bezel I'll bet. One of the things I like about the Zilla bezels, too, is the fact they are not easily rotated because pressure on the top of the bezel is needed to rotate it. |
