Well i have not owned a 44mm Doxa for sometime after i found i liked the 42mm size better but I called and talked to James at Doxa about the 800ti and he shot me a price I could not pass up! So here is one quick photo with more and better to come after i return from my travel. As for the 800ti yes it seems huge to me but the weight is just perfect, not feather weight but much less the the 750 and even slightly less then the 42mm 1200 model. I am not in love with the tubes and some people just flat out think they ruin a Doxa but at the price i paid i am going to give them a chance. And the best part i saved for last the bracelet, wow it is so sweet with the ratcheting size adjustment clasp and it too is TI so it really balances the watch head nicely. I do plan on putting it on an Isofrane strap from time to time once Isofrane gets off their butts and produces a 22mm version but until then the bracelet will do just fine. Here is the one and only photo for now. Thanks for checking it out!

WooHoo TRENT!!!!!!party.gif

Congrats on the new arrival Doxa...you are on a nice little roll here on the Doxa front...very sweet indeed.

I happen to be a fan of tubes, but understand the hard core Doxaholics may have words with these being a departure from the classic Doxa, but hey...the great Doxa lineup has more than enough room for this piece and it is a sweet looker indeed IMO.

I myself like this one a whole lot!!!thumbsup.gif  and the single piece of solid titanium construction, combined with the tubes, and a little more modern looking bracelet throws a nice curve ball.  Again...like this one alot!!!

Enjoy another beautiful Doxa in the stable Trent...I really need to add a Doxa this year...sometime soon...hand6.gif

Nice catch, Trent!  I, too will have to bow to a Doxa some time soon...........
I'm still not sold on any tube watch, though.  Can't help thinking about what happens when the juice runs out and I'm left in the dark....subtlelaugh.gif

I like it Trent! I understand the purist's notion that the tubes destroy the Doxa essence, but personally I like the combo of Ti and tubes. Enjoy it bro'!Thumbsup3.gif

That's very nice Devin.  I hope the tubes grown on you.  Maybe thw rap against tubes is that they have a smaller surface area than a lumed surface.

I've had a Doxa in the shopping cart a couple times in the last two weeks, but never pulled the trigger.  They are beautiful.  Congratulations sir!
