A new Russian arrival for me made by Volmax and the box has been signed by Valentin Volodko president of Volmax Watches.
My new Aviator supplied by R2A, great service.








I tell you what...if you think setting the date on a normal Poljot movement is hard this one takes the cake!!

That's an unusual dial- what is being shown in the sub-dial at 3?

I was guessing day of week till I counted eight, now I'm stumped..

Ok I was too, 24 hour dial at 9 and day of the week at 3 ...friday it nT as shown..
Looking at the pictures the 8th you looked at is blank and the red hand takes over from that point.
As the black hand is on the blank the red hand will be on BC...sunday,

No it has a lip so I am guessing it just pops off.

Thanks 3T it is an odd watch I do admit and yes Mark tux look, it stands out and its a 17 jewel hand cranker with a 26691 which is a mod of one of the 17 jewel movements

That caseback is incredible! Of course the dial is as well butI have many russian watches and that hits me 1st.
