Ken...congrats on this new arrival!!!   party.gif

Thanks for the very detailed review and impressions of this great GMT Pilot from Debaufre...I really enjoyed the great pics as well (both of the watch and of Bandit)!!!thumbsup.gif

I remember reading your comments as you waited for this one to finally be revealed over a year ago, and I'm happy that this watch has exceeded your expectations and is a keeper!!!!

I agree with your comments on the black w/ red stitch...it's ok and a good match color wise...I'm thinking something a little more "Pilot-like" will ring your bell a little stronger.

Enjoy this one Ken!!!

I'm thinking that from a "ready-made" standpoint, the Debaufre Mocha Buffalo Vintage would be a great strap.  It's rugged looking and has that vintage pilot look...plus it very comfortable.  I have one on a Stovard-Jurgenson (which I believe is no longer made) chronograph and it is very nice.

I'd love to come up with something custom with a truly rugged vintage look for one of our many great strap makers to create...but nothing comes to mind right now!

I like that Nav-B, Ken. Just a perfect and simple dial.my love.gif

The leather strap you tried on doesn't do it for me.....distracts the looker from the main event.

Enjoy it in good health, amigothumbsup.gif (Good review, too)

Just tried it on the Debaufre Mocha Buffalo Vintage that I took off my other watch and it is a great match.  It gives it that vintage pilot look that it needs.  Again, the SS Bracelet that is OEM is superb, but I like my "pilots" on straps.

Picture later today.
