Just a short review as I type with my thumbs!  After about a 6 week wait i am pleased with the Crux CX-4 I will start with the brown dial, it is very neat and unlike any other watch in my collection, bezel is nice and tight just the way I like them, the case has a solid feel and the short lugs are perfect. The CX-4 lands on the wrist just right and i think the key here is the short lugs. I have a Heroic18 gator belly strap on it and it is thick at the lugs and it mounted up just fine. In my view this is the best buy of the year, at $590 it is a ton of well made solid feeling watch that some might think should cost $1000-$2000 or more. There will be people that love it or hate it due to the design rights of the case but Crux got this one to the market first and got it done right! here are a few photos... Congrats on the new arrival CRUX Trent!!! dancing.gif I've been very tempted by the CX-1 & CX-4 for at least the last month or so due to the various enablers here at 3T [ Yes...Oscar, Jeff, Tony, tenbosch...you guys know who you are :)]...and reviews/comments/pics like this are not helping me resist one bit!!!  I have to agree with your comments regarding the short lugs...I think that detail combined with the beefy case dimensions really contributes to this one wearing very nicely on the wrist. Trent, BIG CONGRATS on that CX-4. I am so happy for you and I know just how it feels to have a CX on the wrist. You are so right about that sweet price point from Kenneth....very friendly pricing and loaded with tremendous collectibility value. (Chris....give in and click the PayPal button...). My CX-1 is still very accurate and although I still have the OEM strap, you are so right about how easy it is to switch straps. Enjoy that elegant CX-4 in good health, amigo!!! |
