Received this yesterday from Oscar after missing the boat when they were first available. This is a pretty exclusive 2K diver that's completely sterile and I think that's cool.

Not a lot to say about this one. It has all the right bits and is am impressive heavy diver imho. Completely sterile except for the caseback, this is an easy to wear deep diver complete with HRV and lumed bezel. The WWW approach is stripped down with no packaging or paperwork. What you get is one hell of a diver imho.

I know OldeCrow has issues with the bracelet ends needing some shaving before they would articulate... not so in this case and I'm not cursed with his skinny wrists! As he stated in his write up this is very close to the Deep Blue 2K but this watch may have a bit more provenance if you believe what the WWW site has to say, and it doesn't have that darn huge Deep Blue branding on the dial.

All in all a winner in that this is a heavy tool which wears well.

Q&Ds with what little light there was last evening...

Mark, very much looks like a DSSD, except for the dial and face, of course, but the feel is close to the DSSD. I like it lots and wonder what it would look like with a white plongeur instead of the orange-edged one.homerthinks.gifOverall, an impressive piece. This is a 44x16, right?

Big Congrats, amigo!

I love the FF look of the Stingray but for whatever reason I never bonded with it... That's the great thing about 3T. O's got a big deep diver which spoke to me and my Stingray spoke to him.... there you have it... two watches with new homes.

Thanks for the trade buddy!!Thumbsup3.gif

Congratulations

I bought the Sinn rubber for mine and my darn skinny wrists got in the way again, looks silly trying to bend the rubber back around!

I highly recommend it though if you like to change the look a bit!
I was going to offer you mine since I owe you one but I already trimmed it so probably not going help you any!

If you want to see it with white hands there are several threads over on that other site in the dive watch forum about the Kemmner octopus which is the guy who designed the WWW case BTW.

Nice 2K! It looks AWFULLY familiar... I found that a Ted Su dive strap and buckle was the perfect fit for that beast of a watch.

Enjoy!

Thanks 3T this is a bit of a beast indeed and I am digging the totally sterile but imposing presence this watch has.

Chris no need to think you owe me a thing... don't forget the karma watch which may just need to start generating some more karma.

And thanks for the shave Mark! Perfect!

I may look at some alternatives to the bracelet though I generally prefer a bracelet during the long cold Winter which I fear fast approaches.

Very nice Mark! my 2K is one watch I would not sell.

It's great on a strap as well. Enjoy

Mike
