I have been waiting for this Timepiece since I 1st read about it in Watch Time Magazine back in July! They said it was going to be out mid year so I asked every contact in the jewelry world to call me as soon as they arrived. On the 5th of November I recieved a call from a local jeweler who told me they were finally in so myself & my good friend watchdaddy1 went to check them out. I was impressed right away with the sweeping second hand in a Quartz watch & the accuracy loosing only 10 seconds a year compared to the average Quartz that looses 10 to 15 seconds a month! They had several models but the one I saw in the Magazine was the one I wanted and that was listed at $599.99! I was on a hunt and found the one I wanted at JC Penny's for $599.99 with 25% plus 30% discount bringing the total out the door price to $344.50!

The stats on this bad boy are 45.5mm, 18mm thick, 250 grams, 300 meters WR with a Divers extention on the bracelet. The dial is Carbon Fiber with Jeweling surrounding the CF, with date @ 3 O'Clock. I picked it up on Friday 11/12/10 and took it home & set the time to my Atomic Clock, today the 18th it is still tick for tick accurate! Needless to say I am pretty pleased with my latest addition to my meager collection & it will get plenty of wrist time! I hope you enjoy the following pictures!!..........Bob

Congratulations!
I have a thing for accuracy too and the last two weeks I am checking the Precisionist line from Bulova. May it always tell the time for good news only.

Congrats Bob. Great looking watch and a good deal. I'm also in accuracy, so I guess my Sinn UX has some competition. Enjoy your new Bulova.

Congrats Bob!!!bravo.gif

No doubt that this piece looks so much better in "real-world" pics than in those horrible marketing pics I've seen out there.  This is a great looking piece!

I'm not much of a quartz guy, but this super-quartz with the smooth sweeping seconds hand is a very intriguing piece!!!thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the great real world pics and very nice pickup...at the price that you picked up yours, seems like an absolute steal...Enjoy!!!

I like it! The case and lugs remember me a bit of the Seiko Samurai. Really cool watch, to have continuously unbeatable precision without the feeling of wearing a quartz. As I told earlier, I think that this is the future of the quartz.
For 345buks, I would have take the dive

Hey everyone just a quick update as to accuracy of this Bad Boy, it's 11 days since it was set to the Atomic Clock & it actually lost a quarter of a second today! bravo.gifIf that continues it could possibly loose a second a month which would keep pace with Bulova's statement of 10 to 15 seconds a year!excellent.gif
