Just came in, Steinhart Ocean 1 GMT , great quality, as I knew it would be! I'm Very happy with it so far. I wish it was a tad bit bigger, but it looks great once you have it on! Just about everyone knows the info on them and most of you have this watch, so no need to say more, here's some pics.  in the future please resize your pics to 800x600 and under 100,000 bytes bandwidth(these exceed 800,000 bytes)...these pics are too large and causing some members problems downloading... |

Classic looking GMT. Though many already know the watch it is always helpful to give details to those who may not. This is a real GMT movement 2893 in a package with all the right bits, not like some of these bastardized 2836 "GMT" watches. A great combo of quality and value here. |

While I am not sure if Steinhart and Debaufre are still the same company or not, I can assure you that their products and the customer service from both entities are absolutely outstanding. While I have never purchased from the Steinhart in Europe, I did purchase from Steinhart USA. They both source their watches from the same manufacturer (as I believe Roberts does), and I can tell you that the 3 watches I have from them are excellent. I currently have the Steinhart Mach1, Debaufre "Wing of Gold" Pilot and the Debaufre NAV-B GMT (not to mention several straps) and never a flaw (well, one strap developed a minor flaw and Debaufre replaced it even though there is no warranty on straps and bracelets). So, this is my long-winded way of saying you picked a beautiful watch ( once had a very expensive MarcelloC Nettuno GMT like that but it was not nearly as well made)...now that I see yours, I will put a Debaufre Ocean 1 GMT, Black, or Pepsi bezel, on my 2011 wish list!!! |
