Hi everybody. I received my new Irreantum Magellan yesterday from Matt and Courtney. They truly are a pleasure to deal with and fantastic customer service. I was lucky enough to get #66..which is the year of my birth...so I know this bad boy isn't going any where..except to the grave on my wrist!! The case with its sweeping curves is beautiful to look at...and the bezel feel great with no play...and the same can be said for the crown...love it!!.. love it!!.. love it!! The bracelet is so comfortable..and even though the Magellan has some weight to it (something that I like by the way...I want to know that there is a watch on my wrist)..it is incredibly balanced and stays put. And the ratcheting diver extension is an added bonus...wish more diver's came with that feature. The carbon fiber dial contrasts nicely with the polished and orange minute hands too...adds depth in a wonderful understated way. All in all...there is nothing I don't like about the Magellan....its dressy..its sporty..it hits all the marks for me. Once again...many many thanks to Matt and Courtney....I already know friends are going to be asking me about this one the second they see it. Just wanted to share with my 3T enthusiasts. Thx Hammerfjord....it wears super comfortable on the wrist too...I love the bracelet, but I also ordered a Kain Heritage leather strap in black calfskin with grey contrast stitching to pick up on the carbon fiber...just waiting for its arrival. |

I like this model Antoine, I myself own the CF HaiQ and although CF Dials are not everyone's choice I love how they look... Enjoy the Magellan for some time to come ;) |

Thx afc14284 and joecb...I was eyeing it for a while too and I'm glad I took the plunge...its so comfortable...and I agree that CF dials are not to everyone's taste..but this one is very understated. I plan on enjoying this one for some time...especially since Matt and Courtney told me that #66 was available...since that's my year of birth...makes it even sweeter!! |
