Nice pick up! I'm a big fan of Suunto. I have the Quest Heart rate monitor for training and my wife and I use their Cobra3 dive computers. I think their designs are really nice and the menu and readability are among the best I have used.

Thanks Guys for all the feedback! ![]() Sorry I am late with this, I was super busy at the end of last week. Performance update: Went camping this weekend and the storm alarm works great!! For some added info; The Core measures 48mm across, 52mm lug to lug, 14mm deep and takes a 24mm strap. The lugs swivel independent of the case; changing straps can be challenging but the swivel allows for a very comfortable fit with any strap. I currently have a Benarus Iso strap on it (sorry, no pics yet). Once again, Thanks Alot for the comments!

I love mine, but the battery seems to need replacing every six months...not a big deal. I still wear it to work everyday: it's light, relatively low profile and only $350, so if it breaks it's not a big deal.

Cool Suunto. Most of their lineup is pretty solid and packed with features. They've even got a couple models that have been assigned NSNs for military issue. Enjoy that bad boy![]()

Sorry guys for the late response... ![]() Thank You for the kind responses! ![]() Mike T. - I have heard the rumor about the short battery life. When I bought mine the Suunto Vendor was on hand and he gave me 2 Maxell lithium replacement batteries; He said they would last better than the over the counter varieties
