Saw this and had to have it. ETA2801-2 movement, 42mm, and no date. The strap is kinda funky, a BUND with a cover, don't know if I like it yet.

Very sweet new Hammy arrival Chick!thumbsup.gif

Love the clean dial layout and 42mm in this case design is a nice sweet spot for size IMO.

I like this one on the bund (I agree that the cover is a bit funky, but I'm assuming it just wraps around and snaps in place, so it is completely optional as far as being attached to the bund??)

Congrats and enjoy!!!!happy guy.gif

Congrats! Really cool watch and straps!
There's 2 things making this watch the ideal field beater: This kind of bezel takes most knocks without showing any traces and the 2801-1 ETA movement who's bomb-proof...
I have this particular bezel on a Revue pilot: Never showed a scratch.
The 2801-1 is a 2824-2 without the date and automatic modules: Nothing more.
This movement is a very solid little beast who takes the beating very well: I tested it a full year pipefitting and bolt torquing on oil&gas refineries.
It never failed me

very nice, I usually don't go for that bezel but it works great with that dial and large crown!

I'm really, really liking the simplicity of this one. I may have to start looking for one of these.
