This has been a long time coming but an interesting story of exceptional customer service from Steve at Benarus who I can't thank enough.

I have been looking for a bronze watch to compliment my collection for a while now and did the usual thing of googling different pictures and brands searching for the right one, anyway as it was getting close to my birthday I thought this might be a good idea for something from the wife as she always struggles to get me something and is usually an afterthought or crap, so I almost pulled the trigger on a Lumtec M53/54 but the fact I already own an M series and its delay left me thinking of alternatives, first I looked at the Armida A1B and the Helson, heck I even toyed with the idea of a Olivier (lucky escape there) but then I stumbled upon Benarus and more importantly this forum where my obsession with owning a Moray B began because after seeing oagaspar's beautifully Moray complete with patina I was hooked and knew this was the one for me so I contacted Steve with the intention of placing a deposit for him to hold the watch till nearer my birthday as I knew their supple was limited and stocks were going fast since at that time it was late March and I wasn't needing to have it delivered until late May, guys I love watches and having a new one sitting that long and not being able to wear it would have been too much to bare. Well you guys might already know just how good Steve is but to my shocked he did better than that, he was willing to hold the watch until when I needed it but didn't want a deposit to hold it, I'd never deal with the Steve before and he didn't know me from Adam so to me this was on another level of customer service, he even offered to patina the watch for me before sending which I did consider but in the end felt I'd see how it would develop naturally before doing anything.

Anyway here's the watch in all its glory before going into storage till the big day..... thank the lord that isn't too long. lol

Yeah even secondhand they all seem to hold their price extremely well.
