Well it's been a struggle trying to find either a Seiko Tuna or an Alpina I was looking for. So last night I made an offer on ebay for an Alpina startimer LE with that great looking gray dial and my offer was accepted. Watch due on Tuesday. I've included a stock picture and will post when I get it....I'm pumped!!  |

I REALLY like this one Greg, especially in the Grey dial version that you ordered!  My experience with the Alpina diver lineup has concluded that Alpina over-delivers for the price of entry (the brand is underrated IMO).  Really looking forward to your impressions after you have it in-hand! I've been tempted by this exact model! |

Big congrats on that one Greg ! This piece looks absolutely awesome. Really nice grey/anthracite dial.  Love the overall look. Which movement is runnin in it ? ETA Valjoux ? Do you have measurements ? |

 Nice steal. Alpina is a great brand IMO..I don't know why they aren't more accepted/liked in the WIS community.1 good attribute w/ Alpina is since they are not as popular the prices are very reasonable IMO..I'm not sure if that's the case, but either way you more bang for your buck for the price & such great quality. I regret selling mine still.  .Congrats Greg. Can't wait to see the pics |
