William...I've got to give your new arrival Junghans two thumbs up! Thumbsup3.gif bravo.gif

This Max Bill Chronoscope is truly something completely different and out of the ordinary from what you would usually go for.... BUT that's what makes this piece outstanding IMO...design is supremely classic, vintage, focused, clean...what else can I say, it gives a perfectly balanced and purposely built vibe from your pics.

This piece is really a new one to me, seems like the general dimensions would say this is an average sized piece, but I'm suspecting that dial "all the way to the extremes of the very thin bezel" wears very well. Really cool and classic chrono pushers too...

Crystal is absolutely awesome!!!! Is the dial actually convex or is that an illusion caused by the crystal design??? Very cool IMO!

Absolutely classic design from dial to case to crystal to hands to pushers...I'm just sayin'....thumbsup.gif

Enjoy your new arrival buddy!!!!

My question to you...(and really the only thing that matters)...what are your initial impressions and how do you like it???!!! Killer addition IMO!!!

Thanks Chris.
Waaayyy outa the norm for me esp.being tattooed w/ full sleeves.
It features A highly domed plexiglass crystal which IMO provides a vintage look while also offering the benefits of modern technology. The domed nature of the crystal refracts light in the same manner as vintage acrylic crystals for a unique illuminating effect, but also adds SICRALAN hardness coating for increased scratch-resistance.Engine in this is Junghans J880.2 automatic movement, which is based upon the Valjoux 7750.
My 1st initial impression when I opened it was no WAY look @ how small it is,I put it aside for an hour then I straped it on,it was all over then. It's surgical as 1 has explained & I'm in love w/ it.
Gives my tattooed a$$ some class.I love the simplistic vibe it has all the while being attractive all wraped in2 1.
My ONLY complaint is the pathetic strap.I'm a strap nut as you know but I'm in a quandary as to find 1 for this Beauty.
Thanks Buddy.

Side note how come I cant pick my fonts here anymore.Bums me out

Regarding the fonts, we should figure out how you can get to those pronto...what browser are you using?

Regarding the new arrival, thanks for your initial impressions and design details (that convex dial is absolutely KILLER IMO...absolutely my favorite design detail with this one, in addition to the killer crystal and classic, vintage, and focused design.

You've got a winner here IMO!!! thumbsup.gif

+1 on everything Chirs said above. I say this piece makes a really classic dress watch with enough decibels to make a statement. Enjoy it, amigo!
