Trias, Auto 17 jewel, Cushion Case

Very nice watch for the money.  Got it from Marc (IW) from Long Island Watches.

Does anyone know the movement # and specs?

Put a new strap on the Trias.  Had this old strap laying around and thought it would dress it up to go an a real watch.  Sorry I find the strangest things funny.

Sure. Its an ETA 2824. ETA made/makes 2 versions of the venerable 2824. Most people are familiar with the 2824-2, which is the 25J movement with date.

This is the same movement, just w/o a date feature; thus, 17J.

All else is the same; eg; 28,800 beats per hour, etc. . .

There are some Trias models out there that are incorrectly marked on the dial as having 25J, but they don't. Those dials were supposed to get dates (they were lonely :D), but never did. The dials stayed in use, but got 17J movements.
