Well, They weren't lying about it being heavy, all 225 grams of it. Fit and finish is right on, and the cool speckled dial is fun. The band itself could tow cars out of the mud and the donut case is really cool!! It may be a keeper.

The dial almost looks like granite. Any idea what it is? Very sharp!

Awesome Glen, I've got my eye on that one to but I'm going to wait till the price comes down a little...Gotta pay for that Kirby....:D I think Jim Skelton said that they will be putting that watch out in different colors in the future but didn't say when.

Thanks!! It's alot of watch. I got a good deal on it from the Slop with coupon and a credit I had. I like the dial color and bezel combo perfect on this one, I don't know that I'd like something crazy.

Yes it does almost look like a type of granite or stone. I have no idea though what it is.

May be a mix of metal flake in the finish.  It would be a 2 step finish if it was.  I have herd some exp. with the newer automotive type finishes the prob is the dry time even in heat (not economical in large scale).  In the orient the same eco restrictions do not apply so they could make any paint I guess.

Nice looking.............as many are.   That case has a Tissot Seastar 1000 look to it.  Lets hope it doesn't fall apart on you (as some actually don't)!!!:D

That is kind of what I was thinking about the bezel, Ken.  The edges on the castings are not as defined though.
