Aviator III B, 31681 Movement, display back, and bracelet from Rare M5. This design was winner of the Watch of the Year, in the Moscow International Watch Salon in 2004. The 31681 25 jewel movement is a variation of the venerable 3133 movement, and was manufactured by Mak Time in Moscow. The 3133 has a rich history in the Soviet aerospace history, as well as accompanied both the French and Deutch astronauts on space flights. In the end all wounds must heal, or you carry them with you risking deeper wounding around the bend.   |

The movement is similar to an ETA design from the past but I do not know the exact caliber, just the look of the parts. The display back is a $25 option, I think. Rare M5 got it from pacifichrono.com so Tom will know more about this one. Thanks again :D |

Congratulations. It looks like a Valjoux of the 1960s because that is what the original 3133s were and this is a follow-on design from them. If memory serves, and there is good evidence that my memory is very fallible today, the USSR actually purchased all the tools and dies from Valjoux for some of their movements and proceeded to produce them for the Poljots. |
