Shturmanskie "Gagarin" Mechanical Chrono 42mm

From Marc (IW) at longislandwatch.  The watch uses the Poljot 31661 movement which is manufactured by Mac Time in Moscow.  The movement is a modification of the venerable 3133 which has a rich Soviet history.  The watch is a numbered limited edition of 999 total pieces.

Case is 42+ mm in dia. and aprox. 11mm thick with a domed sapphire crystal.  It is a big watch and with the inner rotating bezel it all works well.

Thanks you two I know it is not original, but it works.  Is the case back misprinted?  Does it say movement 3133 or modified 3133 any one know?  Sorry but I love that kind of stuff.

Great looking watch. Is that a stock strap? Or, one you put on the watch yourself? It looks really good with that model.

yeah; strange. I said "but it has a 31681 movement", and they said "yes, it is model 3133"

you just can't win sometimes.

nite!
