YoHoo, I just recieved my silver ORSA today, Plastic still on lens! I love it, It is awesome, The only thing is the band just fits my wrist, Anyone know where I can find one bigger? I don't want metal, I'd like rubber or nato like. I read  in a post that someone wanted to know why one would buy a watch from a company that is bad, They asked what one would say if one was asked how the watch is? I say What about volkswagons? Some person wanted a car for the masses, so the bug was born. Why did it become a hit even though it was prefabbed for a tyrant? Because it had great lines that flowed, and did what it was suppose to do-cheap, aircooled, transportation. The Orsa is a great looking watch, has nice lines, and keeps time, So the people who made it are as$ho1s, That does not make the watch bad.

I don't think Hitler would be selling many Bugs in the States if Hitler was the ceo who was selling his own cars.  But,  who knows.  To each their own.  We all have different standards by which we purchase.  Seems you have a different view then whomever's post you are referring.  I would never purchase a ORSA.  But, that is just me.  Glad you like your purchase and I look forward to the pics.  So get snapping.Camera_photos.gi

I believe daanbc was referring to a post I made.

I am glad you like your watch and I hope you find a larger strap for it. FWIW, I never said I was knocking the watch, just the company.

Nice grab, Dave. I know you've been wanting an Orsa (Festivus) for some time and made a superhuman effort to get it. I have no quibble with the Sea Angler. To me, they are great watches. Very disntictive and toolish. They do get noticed!!

It is unofrtunate the cretins who run Orsa are ust that!!

Congratulations on the Sea Angler. It is a fine watch and you deserve it! Wear it in the best of health. I guess it turned out to be a Happy Festivus for you...

That was hardly a chiding...

However I did have the decency to NOT quote it so that he might make his edit if he wanted to. Also WUS vs. WIS is funny to me.

Funny thing is I looked it over and was ok with it... Just shows how the brain fills in the bad parts. Dude!! I just woke up!! Or perhaps I've enrolled at the KC school of two fingered typing?? I'm glad to have brightened you day and look forward to getting on your typos. You have started something... if I remember after I have a cup of joe.

That watchhunter is a goofball!! I've seen his rambling manifestos here and there... Think he's some sort of rancher in Florida...toon1.gif

Now back to this thread's original topic...

I just finished setting my Orsa and spent a nice moment with it. It told me it was glad to be away fom the slimey French Canadian and his Californian whipping boy and liked staying with me...

I am very happy for Dave as he got his Orsa at long last and didn't have to deal with the stooges at Orsa. In my opinion, the Silver Surfer is the most handsome of the Orsas to date. I have yet to see any pix from a purchaser of the lume dial.

So again, congratulations on the Sea Angler Silver Surfer!! I am certain it will serve you well.
