Got this strap thanks to Marc at Island Watch. It is a little hard to come by these days. Marc had to special order it from Russia. I have two others (on my Flying Tanks) and they are one of my two most favorite straps (the other being the Hirsch Liberty from WatchPrince).

I think it makes a great match for my Black Monster in place of the rubber strap. Having the strap counter-sunk in at the lugs makes it look larger and more like the rubber strap. The white stitching and overlap at the ends is a nice touch that matches up nice with the white hands and indicies on the watch. The strap is a bit stiff at first, but it wears in very nice. It's great for your pilot-style watches.

Wow..............that is a nice strap, and the "shoulders" give it the extra width it needs like the oem bracelet!

Thanks. I bought my first two on ebay from Germany. The original one I got about a year ago was made of a shiny leather. This new version is a softer, richer, flat finish leather. It even smells nice. :D

The ebay source hasn't had any for some time and Marc was only able to find one. So, I don't know the status. But, I love the strap.

And, its not very expensive depending on exchange rates, shipping, etc. It is about half the price of the Di-Modell version. However, the Di-Modell strap comes in a 22mm while the Poljot Aviator strap only comes in 18 and 20mm.

Nice combination!  The extra width really works.:dude:

I've got a 20mm Hirsch Liberty in Honey if anyone wants to make an offer.  It was on one watch for enough time for me to find out that its not XL:shock:
