These were made (so I read) under contract for Maratac to market to Law Enforcement personnel, and probably a vehicle to sell more Zulu straps (which I really like). Timex makes the same watch for themselves only the lugs are quite different and look like they will only take a Timex replacement strap, plus the dial has the Timex logo on it. I gave my son my Timex ana-digi compass model (regular analog time keeping, compass, date and 2nd time zone in LCD display). He loves it, I will make a WIS out of him yet :P Timex is definitely on the move, I love their TX series watches though they are too expensive for me right now, around $500 for some really sweet complicated quartz pieces with flyback chronos etc. Check out txwatches.com :) I might have to take a trip to Target Tony! hand6.gif Cheers, Griff
