OWanted one of these since I first saw them two years ago. The price was high then, and took a big jump last year, but I was able to snag this used one for 1/3 the new price.
The dial color is hard to capture in photos-- it's not orange but rather a unique clay/terra cotta color. The numeral lume is a pale yellowish cream color. The date wheel font matches the font used for the dial numerals.
EDIT: Ooops, wrong pic-- here's the right one:

Hey Skipdawg . . . AWESOME is my catch phrase! Now what can I say about this beautiful watch that hasn't already been said? :) Awesome seems redundant. Very clean, elegant design.

obsidian,

Welcome to the club!  I got me one of those last month, only in slate.  I prefer toned-down dials.  If yours is like mine timewise, you're going to love it.  I think it's finally settled in.  I am amazed: the watch runs at about +-0.5 to +-1 sec/day.  Some days - no deviation!!!  When it is off, check your C.O.S.C. certificate, and place the watch for the night in the position that'll make it gain/lose time.  It works!  I use its box to store it, and it's very convenient for multiple positioning.

Enjoy your chronometer!  I know I do.
