Hi Ken,

I have this three - and there are more dial/case/hand variations available. Movement is dead cheap quartz (some 0 jewel ETA). Fun watches for environments where you do not want to take the "good" stuff (overchlorinated pool, sauna etc.)

The black one gets most wrist time of them:

Black hardware on the strap ain't high quality - just painted, comes off easily. But the black PVD on the watch is good, no visible scrapes so far. Bezels are OK, 60 clicks, not loose at all. Ray has been criticized for the bezels, but the quality has improved.

Still a serious point of critique is the Lume: Lume is 马马虎虎 as the Chinese would say. Not good, really not, but not too bad either, I'd call it "visible". Does not last long...

Cheers,

Markus

Is anyone aware the title of this thread infringes on a trademark??toon1.gif

Seriously, look at Eddie Platt's Precista series for the next iteration in this style...  3T now features a link to Ediie's site. They'll last a lifetime!!

Why did I expect this question?
Lume shot of the black watch I posted above:

ISO 200, 30 sec exposure @ f/8, have a look how fast it fades on the second hand.

Also see the grainy appearance of the lume in the dial markers. My assumption is that either the wrong binder was used, or the mixture was not homogenized enough. Lume on the markers fades fast - after 30 minutes it's gone.

The hands and bezel dot are pretty nice glowing in the beginning, but after about 1 hour barely visible.

Not an "all-night" watch.

For comparison a lume shot of a Fortis Pilot Pro Day/Date - same exposure (ISO 200, 30 sec @ f/8). Apart from being much brighter it lasts for hours on the Fortis.
