As I mentioned in the Wishlist thread, I bought an O&W M6 back in March.  Unfortunately the vendor wasn't able to get the sapphire/no cyclops version and refunded my money.  I wanted a GMT to replace my broken Alpha and I didn't want another Chinese watch.  I already have quartz (Zodiac V-Series) and Russian (VE Rocket) GMTs.  I wanted a Swiss Made auto but didn't have the available cash for one so the M6 was close enough. Thanks to picking up a course I had enough cash with the refund to go for it.  The Steinhart was at the top of my list until I saw the new Ocean7 G-1.  I like the combination of GMT function with the "Ploprof" look, so I pulled the trigger on the black bezel.  I can't wait to get it next week!

That's it for awhile!  I have some watches to get serviced/customized this summer, then off to sell some impulse buys!

Cheers,
Griff

The 3T Orsa is AWESOME!  Fantastic lume, the dial detail is phenomenal, and I love the lumed 31 on the date wheel!  It is a great looking watch taken one step beyond, Kent really is a master hand6.gif

Cheers,
Griff

I guess I better get my own camera, otherwise I have some serious explaining to do, LOL

Hey Griff... you can try the LM-1 on when you come to Orlando, if I can try the G-1.  But we gotta make sure the wives dont start comparing notes or find 3T - we'd both be in a world of you-know-what!

enable

en·a·ble [in áyb’l, en áyb’l] (past en·a·bled, past participle en·a·bled, present participle en·a·bling, 3rd person present singular en·a·bles) transitive verb

1. provide somebody with means: to provide somebody with the resources, authority, or opportunity to do something

2.
make something possible: to make something possible or feasible

In our terms, it basically means that someone tempted you past your means of resistance to buy another watch!:D

For sure! My wife thinks I am nuts, I want to pack at least 5 watches for the trip. My EcoZilla for our day at Discovery Cove, the G-1, Marathon SAR, 3T Sea Angler and I think my Slava Speedmeter for the conference banquet. Plus I am going to give my older son the Citizen diver I bought for him the morning we are going to the Cove. The kids don't know we booked it yet and the back of the watch has a dolphin on it. I can't wait to see their faces!

Thankfully my wife doesn't read the boards, she is on a PC all day at work and doesn't want to see one when she gets home!

Cheers,
Griff

Just one, and it has to be in a specially approved TSA carrying case

I am determined to get over to the Hard Rock Cafe and pick one up, every H-R has a Zippo. I have New York from awhile ago, and Baltimore was out of them last time we were there, grrrrr.

Last time we were in Orlando I picked up a Planet Hollywood Zippo but didn't get to the H-R. I am not going to miss this time!!!

Cheers,
Griff
