Another Buran came today from Marc at Island Watch. It is a hand wind, Russian 3105 movement in nice polished 42mm case. It came with a really nice strap that I am actually gonna wear with this watch. The dial is white in the center and silver around the edge. Superluminova is used on the hands and indicies and it glows bright in the dark. This is the second Buran in a row that has had much better than average lumn. I have one other that I got in trade from Ken and it glows to beat the band as well.

These watches run for more than a couple of days and a full wind. Winding is easy too with the large crown. Yes, it sticks out, but it isn't a problem for me. I like it. :)

I can see why you like it, Mike. Very nice. Are the indice raised so that the secondhand passes under them? The 12 indice seems to be from the photo. Enjoy it.

The indicies are raised (I guess you could say that). They are applied and filled with lumn.

They are raised (applied), but on the dial. The seconds hand goes over them.

Thanks-
Marc
