The Ti Sammy was another watch that had been hanging around my list since I first signed up on WUS 18 months ago, but kept getting pushed off for one or another.  I am so glad I finally snagged it, dealing with Higuchi-san has been an absolute pleasure, 3 days from Japan to US East Coast, and the best price I have seen hand6.gif

As soon as it came I got it sized up (thanks to the detailed how-to on Seiko link-pin collar bracelets over on PMWF) and slipped it on.  After wearing my 3T Orsa all day it felt like I had nothing at all on!  This is an awesome piece, fit and finish are fantastic, I can't wait to wear this at my conference this week :D

This is a keeper, no doubt about it!

Cheers,
Griff

Congrats.....I had the blsck SS Sammi and loved it, but for some reason, it never got much wrist time...so Big O and I made a trade!  Wear it in good health....and, hope it's a watch conference!

Thanks guys :)

I wish it was a watch conference Ken, but it is for database software unfortunately..., but that's OK, we are going to Disney/Universal every minute that I am not at the conference!  Plus we are taking the kids to Discovery Cove, bought my son his first auto diver (Citizen) for our swim with the dolphins :D
We also arranged for the Disney Railroad behind the scenes tour.  They take you to the roundhouse and show you how they get the steam locomotives ready.  I hope the guides are prepared, my older son is an encyclopedia when it comes to steam!!

It was a hard decision between the blue and the black Steve, so I just sort of closed my eyes and hit the "buy" button, heheh.

I'll be "offline" for the week pretty much, so see ya all when I get back!

Cheers,
Griff

The Ti Sammy survived a week at Disney, no thanks to the TSA who scratched the hell out of the clasp going through security.  This watch has to be the best performer out of all my 7sxx series Seiko autos, time was spot on against my cell phone.

If there is anyone on the fence about buying a Sammy, do it!
If it can survive unscathed from a Disney trip it is well worth your dollars.  Plus, service from Katsu-san is an absolute pleasure :)

Cheers,
Griff
