Yes yet another. And yes building a collection besides watches to wear too. hehehehe... :) :D

FedEx brought me another of my top 10 wish list watches. Another that had been on there well over a year. :dude:

This watch is something else in many ways.

Movement is a 25 Jewel ETA 2824 + a modular movement by Dubois-Depraz (Caliber 2025 – base ETA ebauche) with 26 jewels. Total = 51 jewels. sapphire crystals, display back, 40mm case. ;)

The brushed SS was done well. Almost feels soft. :)

Yea Tony that is odd how they did that. Can't read it when the hand is in place. LOL but no biggy to me. I like the date complication but rarely depend on it on a watch. :)

Stuff like that though to me adds to a watches personality as it were. The quirks and all. :D

Oh yeah!  I have been looking at the Calame for a long time, even before I bought my quartz Zodiacs and my Oceanaire.  I nearly pulled the trigger on a strap version over the weekend but I found something else that I immediately fell in love with...but backordered 2 weeks

Congrats Skip, awesome watch for sure! hand6.gif

Cheers,
Griff

I always thought those were great looking chronos. I am curious as to how well the chrono module mated to the standard movement compare with a 7750. What are your thougts so far, Dawg??

So far it seem to do very well. Have not times it to the seconds yet but dose not seem to have lost a minute yet. Will have to make time to gage it with the G-Shock later. But it is a good work horse setup. Not sure if it can compete 100% with a 7750 though. With the exception of a high end custom the 77xx line are still the cream of the crop. ;)
