I finally said "the heck with it" and bought a Valjoux 7750 chrono.  I knew I wasn't going to find a steal at TJ's around here (they have a terrible selection, it must be NE PA) so I went over to Gnomon to look at the O&W Mirage which has been on my list for awhile (no way could I afford the Sinn).  I never noticed before, but clicked on the ID3066 link and saw exactly what I wanted -   V7750 movement, arabic numerals, big white hands, screw down crown with crown guards, date only and a 12 hour/GMT bezel!
Same price as the Mirage I was going to order so I pulled the trigger.  When Anders said it was backordered I had thoughts of the M-6 I tried to order in the spring and finally gave up.  Well, it is inbound from Singapore right now and I am psyched :D

That is two on the way from the Far East (Seiko Sumo en route from Higuchi too), I hope they come when my wife isn't home :P

Here's the vendor pic, I intend on putting it on a Zulu 4 ring upon arrival.

Cheers,
Griff

It's heeeere!  Finally, a 7750 :D
I put it on a 4 ring Rhino I got as a freebie from Eddie Platts with my Zeno Army diver.  I have a feeling my wife is gonna notice this one, then I'll really be in trouble   But, then I can get some wrist shots!
Fit and finish is good, slightly different from the vendor pic as the subdials have red numerals instead of white which I like.  The bracelet is nice, I just wanted the mil look of the 4 ring nylon.  I am not sure whether I like the Rhino logo or not.  I'll let you guys know how well it keeps time in a bit.  Chrono action is nice and smooth.

Cheers,
Griff
