Not really new, but within days of receiving this watch from an eBay purchase, the main crown stripped out.  Not quite "mint" as was described, especially considering the strap which smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I had to throw it away :(

Anyhoo, sent it off to Swatch Canada for a new crown/stem, and $50 and 2 weeks later, she is back home, working like new smile8.gif  I've been searching for a nice large Aviator style watch with high contrast black/white face and this seems to fit the bill.  Currently on a generic bund until some new straps arrive.

Nice Hammy GMT, Mark. What color scheme is it? I've got the blue and never thought of putting it on a Bund... Looks cool!

And was it the rubber strap which reeked of cigs? BLECH!!!

Thanks Guys!

It is the black face with stark white numerals and hands, very high contrast. It came on a brown croc strap with deployant.  It looks kinda cool on the bund, gives it a nice military or aviator feel.  I'm planning to put it on this strap...

Nice to have her home.

That strap looks like it will work great. Mine is on a rubber with red contrast stitch. After a minute or two with the body heat it is so very comfortable. ;)

Mine is on the blue Hamilton rubber strap which I find very comfortable too. They really are all around great watches. GMT function, 200m water resistance, bloody durable!! I bet you missed it while it was away...
