NauticFish 1000m diver

I missed out on the Enzo deal due to work so I picked this up.

This watch and it's story is well known so I leave it at this.

The watch came with a cool leather and rubber straps.  I like that they used the Pelican case as a watch box.  You have to like companies that give that added value of a box you can really use.

Well I have heard they did a good job on this one and their newest bigun too. :)

Looks good and they did step up with that case for sure. That is a quality case.

I wish I could tell you any thing about the brand.  I know a little about the builders.  The price they were asking was under $1000.

I physically have not seen the watch, I am having a long distance relationship with it so far.  Everyone has given me there impressions of it and they are impressed, except for the friction pins on the bracelet.

Nice catch Eric, you're going to love it. I have the same model, it's a nice chunk-o'-steel. hand6.gif

Like the way the retaining ring comes up and rests between the dial and case back.  That is the way it should be done on watches that use this type of retaining system.  There are always room in any design for improvement but this is a good one.

The decorated SW200 movement is nice also, kind of emphasizes the value of the chronometer grade one in the MarcelloC.

Honest opinion about the watches of this type, the one thing they are missing is the dive extension on the clasp.  This example has a push button single deployant clasp.  It has the ability to be adjusted to a larger size and then use the spring bar to do the final tightening on the clasp.  This will allow the band to be extended for use over a full wet suit.  This is not hard to do and I have seen some in this category that do not even have this option.  That is severely limiting the design, but more importantly limiting the ability to get endorsements from the diving community, thus giving it more credibility.
