Ocean 7 LM-1LE arrived today, and it is a fine watch.

I seldom post any of my personal collection of watches, but this one needed to be done in order for us to thank Mitchell of Ocean 7 for supporting such a noble cause as Freedom is Not Free.

Thanks again.

Thanks man, looks like Pax was playing with the Candino.  Looks right up his ally as far as size.  That watch plays a lot larger than its measurements.

Have a good one.

Thanks Steve,

Anyone know the history of these watches?

When where they made or sold?

The first ones came out in January of this year. Limited edition of 150.  They sold out sometime over the summer.  The case molds were destroyed - a nonLE version will be produced next year, but will not look too much like the LE...hand6.gif

I would not mind knowing more on the watches history myself. ;)

If you're up for some reading, you can follow the whole history of this watch here:

Thanks!!!

I was wondering the chain of custody of the movements and that would not be public info any way.  I had to service this one, but that was not a problem.  It was much easier than putting it in a box to ship, plus it was for charity.

If I remember correctly, in those history threads, Mitch has some open discussion about how many movements were received bad at the factory or had to be returned from him or from a customer...  so a little info is there...
