This is a review of the Debaufre Airforce Orange

This was originally in another thread on Steinhart but was asked to post this again in the New Arrival section....added pictures I missed as well.

First let me state, I am almost ashamed to admit I did not in any way shape or form expect the quality of watch I received. Not even close. I was impressed from the second I opened the package and saw the box. While it may not seem important to some...its attention to detail. The box was a well made watchbox with the Debuafre emblem or crest on top. I liked it! The watch arrived with a hex tool for changing out the band.

The watch is well built and solid.

The window on the back is simply beautiful and the Swiss movement is very nice.

I expected a much larger watch for some reason and it actually is the same size of watch I wear almost every day. I consider my wrist small and the watch still looks great.

Its a beast for sure. I thought I would want to change the watch band out but after getting one look at the one it came with...I think I'll just order a few spares. The band is just as beautiful. The buckle is just as well made as the rest of the watch.

I thought I should include a picture of the crown and also to give an idea of how thick this watch really is.

I apologize for my poor picture taking and poor review skills. But I promised photos and thats the main thing. I hope you enjoy this review. Thanks

Lume? what lume?

That's actually the only drawback about this model....no lume. I like it any way!

I was surpised as first as well that it didn't have lume....but then after I thought about it...since this is going to be my every day beater...I thought lume wasn't all that important to me. For the price however it probably should have come with it. :P

Really cool looking watch.  Reminds me of the B&R...but cost much, much less.  Very unique - you'll get lots of comments on that one.  I was very tempted to pick this one up...just wanted a hand cranker, but with out lume....think I'll wait for a bit.  Thanks for sharing the pictures..they were great.

I stand corrected.....amazingly....it DOES have lume. LOL I never noticed and none of the materials with the watch or the site indicated it did...so I assumed it didn't. Was in the car with the girlfriend and was fiddling with the sunroof and we were heading to a movie.....I had the dome light on and my watch was up against the light......I just happened to look down at the watch to see how much time we had before the movie started.....and lo and behold.....lume! LOL

Not the brightest lume in the world but lume non the less. ;)

Appears yellow to me.
