Some may remember I was looking for a suitable watch to wear during Wisconsin Badger games. Well leave it to Lior to fulfill my desire!!

Saw this OTV selling again with the winder and grabbed it in red. Oddly enough I have used the winder I got with my Magico Brown Eye with much success so I wasn't worried it would be complete crap!! You may now chuckle and dismiss me as simply mad... yes, MAD ABOUT MAGICO!!

I haven't sized the bracelet which I actually like or given the watch a close inspection but upon cursory examination all appears to be in order. Big 46mm case with red "carbon fiber" dial, Miyota 8215, screwdown crown, 200m wr, 60 click bezel which actually lines up, big ass solid chunk of 316L. Check out the highly decorated rotor. toon1.gifReally how could you muck such a watch up? It is what it is...

It ain't gonna win any accolades but it is red, and although the Badgers season is in the crapper, I still will proudly fly my UW colors proudly with the help of this stupendous Magico which I now dub " Big Red!!" Hope to size it up for Saturday's game.

Feel free to feel pity for me as the Magico OTV madness with which I have been afflicted with for some years continues to fester in my WIS heart... Oh, the humanity!!

Q&Ds running out of light come Fall

Way to go, Mark. We'll both be wearing our big red Magicos this Saturday. I'll be at the game when the Buckeyes kick some serious Michigan State butt.

I must admit, for the money I am quite fond of them. When they come back down to "special price" I think I might just have to pick one up.

Thanks for the kind remarks, 3T brothas. I just sized it up and have been wearing it after it sat on the winder all day. The Magico bracelet now has friction pins rather than the screwed links found on my Brown Eye OTV but it still plenty solid. The bracelet is intergrated so there is no hope for swaping out straps.

Went over it a bit more closely and have been pleasantly surprised by the very good f&f. Bezel action is smooth if a bit tinny. I have to admit to liking it. Should be great on Saturdays this Fall, and I will have the pleasure of joining Edgel as he wears his big red square Magico... albeit while he pulls for a different team.

Scotty--The lume is quite good and burns pretty brightly initially but fades pretty quick. I'm gonna keep it on tonight so we'll see if the lume has any staying power.

I don't mean this too sarcastically, but it really does show if your expectations are low, they are easily surpassed...
