Just arrived today.  I had half hoped this might draw a line through any of the bigger watches on my wish list but I actualy quite like it.

Very fun, I have a few of those and they are great watches to wear daily

How is the crown lock on that one, is it tight?

Do you know the movement in her?

Another cool strap to get for everyday sporty wear is a velcro panerai type, you can find them on ebay, knock offs but for beaters, very sporty.

I have that one as well. Nice watch with an ETA movement in mine.

Crown Lock seems pretty tight to me but I've never handled a real Panerai. Movement is (apparently) a genuine Unitas 6497.  Certainly looks right.  On that subject, anyone any idea how many turns of the crown to get a full wind from dead on one of these ?

That sandwich dial is looking tasty!! Nice grab and sure looks like a 6497. I can't see how you could go wrong with that... GREAT!!

I'm taking a guess but i suspect this is from either the UK seller on e-bay (who's "sterile" models come from China) or from the HK gentleman who will assemble them to order based on your wants.

If they are from the UK seller, they seem like a fair deal assuming you don't get a lemon.

Eurythmic is right.  It's from the UK seller on e-bay.  It's a solid watch and quite nicely finished though I've had to change the strap - the alligator with deployment in the pictures is a little on the 'plasticky' side.
