Here are some quick and dirties of the recent combo incoming - an Orsa Sea Angler black dial, and Ocean7 LM-1 Limited Edition 97/150.  The "combo" part of it was not just the two watches, but the fact they came with high end aftermarket straps in addition to their original straps.  The Orsa comes on a Shane Dalurian "black widow" which is probably as thick as my belt.  The LM-1 came with a Strap Culture "legend" strap with a PAM style buckle that has a skull and cutlasses logo on it!  The strap came in a fancy pouch and two buckles - one brushed and one polished.  I'll let you guess which one I used.  The LM-1 came in a "pelican" plastic case, which I think is essentially a waterproof case.  Not sure what the attraction is, but it has a plastic valve on the side (for what, in case one drops it in water?).  Oh well the diver nuts seem to like that kind of plastic case.  It will make a nice travel case for me to use.

Initial impressions - the O7 is very well made but feels somewhat insubstantial when compared with the Orsa, which is heavier and slightly thicker.  The crown on the LM-1 is also poorly positioned - too close to the lower right lug and no crown guard (the crown is also smaller than the Sea Angler).  That said, I like the easy to read Plonguer hands.  I need not review the Sea Angler, everyone knows its one of my favorite watches.

Thanks.  Yeah the LM-1 has pretty good lume.  The hands glow brighter than the dial though, but both are bright enough to read through the night.  The large hands make it a breeze to read the time in the dark even before the eyes adjust to the darkness.

I am glad you scored that. I logged in 2-3 times to PM to buy those as I was online when they were posted but wised up. I already have an LM-1 and am waiting for my 3T Orsa so I deferred the deal to another. I really didn't see a reason to buy them just to turn them. You got a very good buy IMHO. I love my LM-1 and am sure I will dig the Orsa just as much. Congrats

If you like the LM-1, you will love the Orsa, esp the 3T Orsa, which has some of the BEST lume you will ever see.  At least that was the case with the original ten dials.  I hope the new dials will be similarly outstanding.

When I saw the black sea angler for sale, I just had to bite on it, and the combo deal just made it a little sweeter.

Eric big Concrats for a awesome pick up as in watch2.gifwatch2.gif.  Eric I made the guy an offer on that Sea Angler, which was the only one out there at first.  I tried to get him to keep the Dalurian strap and bring the watch down in price, he would only budge a little.  I followed the post, seen when he added the LM-1 and then I seen his asking price at the end "WOW"  perfect.gif what a deal.

While I concede that the 3T ORSA is an awesome watch...can it possibly compare to that "German" LE quartz thingy that..............oh, never mind!subtlelaugh.gif
